REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING POSTPONED

The  June 10th, 2019 Regular City Council Meeting has been postponed to Monday, June 17th, 2019, due to weather conditions and power outages.
The Charter Review Commission Meeting has been postponed until further notice.


THE FOLLOWING ITEMS POSTED ON THE AGENDA, FOR THE MEETING OF JUNE 10TH, 2019, WILL BE POSTPOSED, RESCHEDULED TO JULY 8TH, 2019, AND NOTICE FOR THE SAME BE RE-PUBLISHED: 

1(B) Conduct Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan Amendment 002-2019, for property located at 112 Lakeside Drive from Low Density Residential to Commercial to allow a for a vehicle storage facility impound lot.

1(C)Consideration and action regarding approval of a Comprehensive Plan Amendment 002-2019, for property located at 112 Lakeside Drive from Low Density Residential to Commercial to allow a for a vehicle storage facility impound lot.

2(B) Conduct Public Hearing on Zoning Ordinance Amendment 003-2019, to amend Chapter 90 Zoning Ordinance, Section 3.03-Use Chart and Section 9-Zoning Definitions to amend the definition and regulation for “vehicle storage facility.”

2(C) Consideration and action regarding approval of a Zoning Ordinance Amendment 003-2019, to amend Chapter 90 Zoning Ordinance, Section 3.03-Use Chart and Section 9-Zoning Definitions to amend the definition and regulation for “vehicle storage facility.”

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ! 

THE CITY OF BALCH SRPINGS HAS ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR 
MAINTENANCE 
AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

 THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.07 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR 
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $5.26
