Sixteen and Older COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

CORONAVIRUS_cobs-banner

As of Monday, March 29, 2021, everyone age 16 and older is now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas.

The state’s Expert Vaccine Allocation Panel recommended opening vaccination to everyone who falls under the current Food and Drug Administration emergency use authorizations. All vaccines are authorized for people age 18 and older. The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for people 16 and older. It will be up to you to sign up or see one of the providers to receive the vaccine if you choose to do so. Below is a list of links that will be helpful in your search of an eligible vaccine provider. There is also another link to find the large scale vaccine “HUBS” such as the one located at Fair Park in Dallas. Please remember that you do NOT have to sign up in the County you live in. While we know there are still a lot of questions regarding the vaccine out there that cause hesitancy in receiving so I will provide some additional links for more information and some FAQ’s.
