I would like to see the alleyways paved. It would go a long way in improving the look of the city because most people do not maintain this area behind their homes even though they are supposed to. It would also help with access to utility trucks during wet months. Too often I have seen vehicles mired down in mud behind my home. It would also make it possible to put trash cans at the rear of the house instead of on the curb which would improve the approach appeal.
