Senior Center
The Balch Springs Senior Center is open to all senior citizens in the Balch Springs community. Transportation is available to any senior that does not drive or have a ride to the center. Call the center to make arrangements. The center offers a variety of activities for free or minimal cost.
Free Commodities to seniors in the area. Third Friday of every month. Time 10:30-11am. Items vary each month and may include cheese, pasta, cereal, juice, etc.

Balch Springs Seniors Monthly Dance
Second Saturday of Each Month: 7-10pm. Come and enjoy the fellowship of other seniors each month with a live band.We are looking for volunteers to help seniors that could use an extra hand. Tasks may include yard work, lot clean up, minor repairs, etc. For more info, call 972-557-7215.
Seniors & Kids Gardening Class:
The two groups will plant and grow a garden together using organic methods. Enter contest to design the garden.
